Description
SEOryon is an AI SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) platform that researches, writes, and publishes articles built both to rank on Google (SEO) and to be cited in AI answers such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude (GEO). This plugin is the official connector that lets SEOryon publish those articles straight to your WordPress site, automatically or with a review step you control.
Every article SEOryon writes is grounded in real research before a word is written: the live search results, the real questions people ask, keyword demand and difficulty, competitor coverage and gaps, and your own brand voice, with contextual internal links to your existing posts. This plugin handles the connection so that finished, on-brand articles land in WordPress without you copying and pasting.

What SEOryon does
- Targets what you can actually win, not just high-volume keywords: it weighs real demand and difficulty against your site’s strength, so effort goes where it can move.
- Writes complete, on-brand articles with genuine information gain, an answer-first structure, an FAQ built from the questions people really ask, contextual internal links, and an original hero image.
- Fact-checks every claim and verifies every external link before publishing, and never invents facts about your business.
- Runs a GEO / LLM audit that shows where you appear across AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude), then builds content designed to get you cited.
- Analyzes competitors: who ranks for your topics, the gaps you can take, and how the top pages are built.
- Surfaces relevant, high-authority backlink opportunities, never link schemes, PBNs, or spam.
- Audits your site’s speed and technical health, in plain English, with the fixes that matter first.
- Runs on your terms: semi-autopilot, where you approve every piece, or full autopilot, where it plans, writes, schedules, and publishes on the cadence you set.
- Built on Google’s published guidance, with no keyword stuffing, no thin filler, and no risky tactics, so the growth lasts.
What this connector plugin does
This plugin does one job well: pairing your WordPress site with your SEOryon account, securely and revocably.
- Generates a fresh, dedicated Application Password just for SEOryon, named so you can identify it under Users Profile.
- Sends
home_url(), your username, and the new password to SEOryon’s secure pairing endpoint, gated by a single-use token that expires in 30 minutes. - Stores connection state locally so you can see and revoke the link at any time.
- On Disconnect, revokes the Application Password it created (a local WordPress core call), so the credential SEOryon stored stops working immediately.
- If pairing fails, revokes the Application Password it just created, so a failed attempt never leaves an unused credential on your account.
- Lets SEOryon store each article’s SEO title, meta description, focus keyword and structured data (JSON-LD) when it publishes. If Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active, the title, description and focus keyword go into that plugin’s own fields. If no SEO plugin is active, this plugin prints the SEO title, the meta description and one JSON-LD block on the article page. With SEOPress or All in One SEO active it prints nothing; that plugin keeps control of your SEO output.
What this plugin does NOT do
- It does not run any cron and doesn’t change your existing posts. All publishing is initiated by SEOryon’s servers using the standard WordPress REST API; the plugin only declares the SEO fields SEOryon may write on the articles it publishes.
- It does not phone home for telemetry. The ONLY outbound request this plugin ever makes is the pairing POST, when you click Connect. Disconnect is local-only: it revokes the Application Password via WordPress core and clears local state, with no outbound call.
External services
This plugin is the official connector to SEOryon (https://seoryon.com, app at https://app.seoryon.com), a paid AI SEO content platform operated by Oryon Systems, a French company. The plugin is a pairing tool and is not functional without a SEOryon account.
It transmits the following to https://app.seoryon.com exactly once, when you click Connect:
- The site URL (
home_url()). - Your WordPress username.
- A newly-generated Application Password (created by WordPress core for this purpose; the plugin never stores it locally).
- The pairing token you pasted.
SEOryon stores the credential encrypted at rest and uses it solely to publish and update articles on your site via the standard WordPress REST API. No other data is collected or transmitted by this plugin.

- Privacy Policy: https://app.seoryon.com/privacy
Disconnect at any time from Settings SEOryon (this revokes the Application Password), or revoke it yourself from Users Profile Application Passwords. Either action immediately stops publishing.

FAQ
-
What is SEOryon?
-
SEOryon is an AI platform for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). It researches keywords, reads the live search results, writes complete on-brand articles, and publishes them to your site, built both to rank on Google and to be cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). This plugin is the WordPress connector for it. Sign up at https://seoryon.com.
-
Can I use this plugin without a SEOryon account?
-
No. The plugin is a pairing tool. SEOryon is what writes and schedules the content. Create an account at https://seoryon.com.
-
How do I revoke access?
-
Either Disconnect from Settings SEOryon (which revokes the Application Password the plugin created), or delete the “SEOryon” entry from Users Profile Application Passwords. Both immediately invalidate the credential SEOryon stored.
-
What happens if I delete the plugin without disconnecting?
-
The pairing credential stays valid: it is an Application Password stored by WordPress core, not by the plugin. SEOryon can still publish until you revoke it. Disconnect from Settings SEOryon before deleting the plugin, or remove the “SEOryon” entry from Users Profile Application Passwords at any time, even after the plugin is gone.
-
Why does the plugin need Application Passwords enabled?
-
SEOryon publishes via the standard WordPress REST API, which requires authentication. Application Passwords are the WordPress-recommended way to grant scoped, revocable access without sharing your real password.
-
Does the plugin work with WordPress older than 5.6?
-
No. Application Passwords were added in WordPress 5.6. Please upgrade.

Changelog
1.1.1
- Fixed: on sites using a block theme (such as Twenty Twenty-Three) and no SEO plugin, articles were published without their SEO title, meta description and structured data. Block themes now receive all three.
1.1.0
- Articles published from SEOryon now carry their SEO data: the SEO title, meta description, focus keyword and JSON-LD structured data.
- Works with Yoast SEO and Rank Math (their own title, description and focus keyword fields). With no SEO plugin active, the plugin prints the SEO title, the meta description and the structured data itself.
- The post title is now the article’s headline; the shorter SEO title is used for the page title tag.
- A failed pairing now revokes the Application Password it created.
- Added a Settings link on the Plugins screen and a one-time notice after activation.
- Added a French translation.
- Tested with WordPress 7.1.
1.0.2
- Rebranded the plugin and all references to SEOryon for a single, consistent brand.
- Rewrote the description to explain what SEOryon does and how this connector fits in.
1.0.1
- Renamed plugin display to SEOryon.
1.0.0
- Initial release: token-based pairing, automatic Application Password creation, revoke-on-disconnect.
