Eliathis Delivery Zones and Pickup for WooCommerce

Description

Eliathis Delivery Zones and Pickup adds a “store / delivery mode / delivery zone” block to the WooCommerce checkout (Checkout Block and classic checkout shortcode).

  • Several stores: the customer first chooses a store; only the delivery zones of that store are offered.
  • Delivery zones with their own price and currency, grouped by category.
  • Three ways of receiving orders, each one can be switched on or off: home delivery, on-site pickup and pickup by a third party (name and phone of the person collecting the order).
  • Adapted to your activity: answer a few questions in Eliathis › Personalise (restaurant, store, pharmacy, garage… or your own activity) and the checkout speaks your words: “Your store”, “Please choose your pharmacy”…
  • Ordering hours: same hours every day or per day of the week (ranges past midnight supported). Outside those hours the checkout is blocked on the server side, not only in the browser.
  • Optional site-wide “closing soon” popup with a live countdown, a call-to-action button and a banner in the mini cart; order buttons are disabled automatically once the store is closed.
  • Delivery details saved in the order and shown in the order screen, in the emails and in the customer account.
  • Colours and texts configurable from Eliathis › Delivery & pickup (the shared menu of the Eliathis plugins), with a live preview; each section of the settings page has its own Save button.
  • Import delivery zones and points of sale from an Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm) or CSV file, with a downloadable model.
  • Works with OrderFlow Manager: its stores can be used as points of sale automatically.
  • Interface in English, with French, Spanish and German translations included (regional variants such as fr_CA, es_MX or de_AT use them too).
  • Compatible with WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) and the Checkout Block.

This plugin is not affiliated with or endorsed by WooCommerce or Automattic.

FAQ

Does the plugin work without WooCommerce?

No. WooCommerce is required; a notice is shown in the administration if it is not active.

Does it support the classic checkout shortcode?

Yes, both the Checkout Block and the classic [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode are supported.

I used the previous version named “Delivery Logistics”.

Deactivate “Delivery Logistics” and activate this plugin: its settings and the shipping method of your shipping zones are taken over automatically. Previous orders keep their delivery details.

Changelog

2.5.0

  • Export: the current zones and the points of sale entered by hand can be downloaded as Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, with the same columns as the import model, so the file can be changed and imported again.
  • Import models: blank model (columns only) or model with examples, as Excel or CSV.
  • Fix: a cart with nothing to deliver (virtual products such as licences, gift cards or services) no longer asks for a point of sale, a reception mode or a zone, and is never refused or cancelled by the delivery rules.
  • Fix: on a store without shipping method in its zones, the classic checkout fields are shown when a product must be delivered (they were hidden but still required).
  • Settings of the former Delivery Logistics plugin are taken over again when they change (for example after a backup is imported), after a backup copy of the current settings.

2.4.0

  • Spanish (es_ES) and German (de_DE) translations included, in addition to French. Regional variants (es_MX, es_AR, de_AT, de_CH, fr_BE, fr_CA…) use the main language of their family.
  • Shared Eliathis module 1.5.0.

2.3.1

  • Eliathis home page: the “You can also install” section only lists the Eliathis extensions already published on WordPress.org.

2.3.0

  • Each section of the settings page (general, points of sale, texts, hours, currencies, zones, colours) is saved on its own, with its own button; unsaved changes are flagged.
  • Import of delivery zones and points of sale from an Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm) or CSV file, with a downloadable model (add / update, or replace all).
  • Points of sale can come automatically from OrderFlow Manager when it is active.
  • Live preview of the colours and texts, before saving.
  • Neutral colours for the settings page and for the default checkout colours (saved colours are kept).

2.2.0

  • Checkout texts adapted to your activity (Eliathis › Personalise): “Your store”, “Please choose your restaurant”, “Store & delivery options”… instead of texts written for restaurants. Texts you changed by hand are kept.
  • Home delivery and on-site pickup can now be switched off, like third-party pickup; a disabled option is also refused on the server side.
  • “In-store pickup” renamed “On-site pickup”.
  • Eliathis home page: an extension without the Eliathis menu is shown as “Older version”, with a clearer explanation.

2.1.0

  • Settings page moved from the WooCommerce menu to the shared Eliathis menu (same address: admin.php?page=eliathis-delivery-zones-pickup), with an Eliathis home page listing the Eliathis plugins.
  • Link to the settings from the shipping method and from the plugins list.
  • Interface texts in English, French translation (fr_FR) included in the languages folder.
  • Default settings now follow the site language.

  • New name: Eliathis Delivery Zones and Pickup for WooCommerce (previously “Delivery Logistics”), new slug and text domain eliathis-delivery-zones-pickup.
  • Every function, class, constant, option, session key, order meta, script handle, JavaScript object and CSS class now uses the unique edzp prefix.
  • Automatic migration from “Delivery Logistics” 1.x: settings and shipping zone methods are taken over; previous orders are still displayed.
  • The checkout script is shipped as readable source (no minified file).
  • Generic default settings (no sample store names).
