Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/change-author-base` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. 3. Go to Settings Permalinks to configure your custom author base. 4. Enter your desired author base (e.g., “about-us”, “team”, “writers”). 5. Click “Save Changes”. ## FAQ ### Will this help my SEO? Yes.
